ASI-55 Hybrid Sealant & Adhesive 4-PK

ASI 55 Industrial & Construction Hybrid Sealant & Adhesive is a one-part, moisture cure adhesive that cures to form a permanent, durable rubber for use in various adhesive & sealant applications. ASI 55 has been formulated to offer exceptional adhesion and green strength for adhesive applications and excellent UV resistance and long-term properties for sealant applications. ASI 55 is a non-slump sealant and can be applied to vertical or overhead surfaces without flowing or sagging. 

ASI 55 is 100% solids and has a very low odor which makes it ideal for confined or occupied work spaces. ASI 55 is paintable and non-corrosive with a very broad adhesion profile. ASI 55 Hybrid Sealant & Adhesive is an excellent alternative to polyurethane and solvent based adhesive/sealant chemistries. 
 

Coverage

Approximately 24 linear feet at ¼” diameter bead.

Tips

• Apply to clean, dry surface that is free of dirt, silicone, loose paint, rust, oil, grease, coal tar, or other contaminants.
• Apply when temperature is above 5˚C/41˚F and rising.
• Use Liquid Rubber Deck and Patio Cleaner to prep wood.
• Avoid hot, direct, intense sun when applying.  Mornings and Evenings are best if it's blistering hot.
• Curing time depends on temperature, humidity and airflow.
• Do not apply in wet conditions (including fog and dew) or if rain is forecasted within 24 hours.
• Tape off the area to ensure a clean and neat application. Pull tape as soon possible.
• Tool before skin formation.
• Make sure what you’re coating is at least 5 degrees above the dew point of the environment you are coating in. (See technical specs for more details)
• For best results remove existing paints/coatings and apply directly to the substrate. (Some paints and coatings will not be compatible. Loose/flaky paint may be an indication that the existing paint/coating is not well bonded and therefore your Liquid Rubber solution may fail if applied over it instead of directly to the substrate. Oil based paints, enamels, epoxies, powder coats can be difficult to bond to. Contact your Liquid Rubber technical representative for further direction.)
• Wait 24 before painting.
• Full strength is achieved in 7 days.
• Do not allow to freeze.
